I am also not Tom. But I love Making the Band more than I love pretty much everything except for maybe The Hills and pizza. So, here we go.
10:01 Diddy is talking. But WHY? This is awful. He claims that "the ladies" have spoken and that they want his shades off. OH GOD THAT IS HIDEOUS. Puffy, I am a lady and that is not pleasant. And then he says “bitches”. Whoa. Is that totally necessary?
10:04 The boys discuss the ups and downs of love. BORING. Wow I used to think that Donnie aka NKOTB was sort of endearing but the more I see his face the more I think that is not actually true. Robert’s girlfriend calls him a “Drama King” and he dramatically slams the phone down. Moving on...
10:01 It is 2:00am and Puffy rolls in to wakes these kids up. Which is funny because they all seem to be sleeping in their clothes. I think my we’ve already gotten to the climax of tonight’s episode when Puffy lays in bed with Brian A. and gently wakes him like a loving camp counselor. Or maybe it's more like this.
Diddy wants to share his city with the boys so he wants them to sing in Times Square for 2 hours and then go to Brooklyn and get him cheesecake (duh, good call on that Tom), and then to Queens and sing for 2 hours, and then to the Bronx to sing for 2 hours and then come back across the GW bridge but they have to sing on the way. Puffy is convinced this is how the boys will be separated from the men— apparently his definition of men is “the ones that don’t have to go to the hospital”. The other strange thing about this is that to “fundraise” for the homeless, this mission starts at 3:30am.
10:14 Boys arrive at B.B Kings to sing. Outside. For 2 hours. This is so confusing. And also it is winter. At least they have a slammin Jam Box with them. Although this makes me wonder if they are just going to sing their performance songs for the next 12 hours. Oh good call singing “Gone”, Dan’s group. This song is so my jam. Sort of like the time I dreamt about singing Shai. Yep, that happened. Right, Kenzie?
10:16 Now it's 6:15am and it's time for Juniors. Here is my real question. Are they supposed to drop this off with Diddy before they head to Yankee Stadium, or keep it with them the whole time? Because we all know what happened to the chumps that were late with the cheesecake on Making the Band 2.
9:55am QUEENS! Did you know that there is a huge “Christmastime in Hollis Queens” sign that actually does go up in Hollis Queens every Christmas? In fact, it maybe should even be in this shot. If I was cameraman that is clearly what I would have focused on.
And then a homeless man smiles and joins in to sing “It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday”. Oh man I got the vapors.
10:19 Finally in the Bronx. And still singing the same songs. Over and over. Let’s hope the jambox batteries last. And back across the GW. I...didn’t know that people walked across the GW. And they cross their final location singing “End of the Road”. That is so meaningful. And then the police pull them over. And tell the cameras to turn off. The police say they have to find a way to get across. But they do it anyways. And they don't get arrested. Well that was anticlimactic.
10:26 When Donnie (NKOTB) was in 6th grade he performed “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems” at the talent show. Let’s put that in the category of “overshare”. Thanks Donnie. And now there are loads of homely chicks to be an audience. Interesting that no one had to go to the hospital. Puffy looks disappointed that they all came through. More importantly, why isn’t he eating his cheesecake yet?
10:29 Note that we have yet to see Laurie Ann. The only reason I watch this show is for Boom Kat, so the second half of this episode better bring it.
10:32 Anzeo and Brian are fighting over eggs. Which is weird. There is a lot of “dawg” shouting and jumping up and down. I am not pleased that MTV edited this segment to make me think that screaming about about something important and not eggs.
10:40 Finally the actual performance. 37th Ave is praying for God to touch their vocal chords. And it seems like God may have done just that. And we finally get our first glimpse of Laurie Ann but she is neither Booming nor Kating. I am devastated. Campus Block sounds a bit rough. Face has a hot dance for Peaches and Cream. Hilarious. I love this song. And then Maurice starts stripping. Wow. well. Hmm. Interesting. Switch goes and Michael Bivins loves this as much as me. Make this Band and have them only cover N*Sync songs 4eva and eva Amen. Legit dedicates their song to the "soldiers" that might be cut tonight. Nice guys. Laurie Ann makes stink eye. Some girl in the audience cries. Oh my. Weird. I sort of thought that sounded horrible.
10:54 Puffy was supposed to cut 10 tonight, but is only cutting 4. And apparently is going to do this in front of the live audience. That’s really nice of you, Puffy.
This is a very long 6 minutes.
Makio, Maurice, Tyrice, and Anzeo-- peace out.
Throw up the deuces.
Next Week: Puffy brings in an entirely new group of contestants. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

nice call on both heavyweights AND salute your shorts. I was slightly surprised to see the cheep and crappy quality of the intro. I also thought there was a higher production value on those things. Then again, I was ten when that show as on. Oh Donkey Lips...
"Donkeylipsh lovesh lobshter"
haha i love your blog(:
Shut the fuck up.... its people like you who ruin good shows for other people just because you dont like it... your like one of those people who you watch a movie wit and they just pick apart the whole movie which makes it suck even if it is a good movie!!
was that all one sentence?
I love watching this show but who i definately know for sure that Robert should be on of the members of the band he is very talented and also very handsome!!!!!!!!!
i love this show. They have hot guys and there very talented. I realy think that michel should be in the band he has a great voice and a grat sence of humer . and he dances like crazy a like his style .
I LOVE DONNIE J!!! HES MAD SEXY AND I THINK THAT HE SHOOD WIN<3
i dont think Carlos should have been cut cuz he was going through things at home and he is really talented...i'll pray for u carlos!♥
DeAngelo should have made the band, he had one of the best voices in the house. Diddy made sure he picked the New York boys (Q and Donnie). Diddy is a hypocrite.
I'm just wondering if there's a site where Making the Band 4 episodes are available. I was a serious latecomer. My email address is bbgjames@aol.com. Someone please get back to me.
Thanks
this show is soo00 kool and donnie u da man!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont think that Julius should have been cut aye.
He had broken leg man, and he had one of the best voices in the house. Him, DeAngelo and Carlos.
alguien sabe como se llama la cancion q cantan?
These are the gayest group of men I have ever seen in my life. I have nothing against gay people. P. Diddy really dropped the ball on this one. Every member of the guys are gay. Their looks, mannerisms, and their speech. P. Diddy should have called this Making The Gay Band 4. Big Ups to P. Didddy for signeing the first openly gay boy band--or should I say the "down low" boy band.
I have to agree with the one above.. Why name the band Day26?? I suppose, it's only worth watching cause of Danity Kane..
i beleive diddy pick the rite people for the band but he need to teach them how to controlled thier temper before they destroy the band.
i think that diddy knew what was up with day 26 because all those boys could really blow! dats why i'm trying to find sign ups to get on there not for fame or money, but becuse i believe i could make it. so if you want to know more bou me hit me up at : e-mail:dar415boi@yahoo.com, you could find me on myspace or e-mail.
Indeed, haha, check out this film.
